We could not be more thrilled with Gemma. She has been so kind and approachable with Elodie; she’s enabled a lovely rapport and developed a really trusting relationship with Elodie. In addition, Gemma is clearly very experienced and skilled, and has helped Elodie so much with the curriculum already. As parents, we’ve really appreciated the opportunity to learn from Gemma’s teaching style, insights and feedback on Elodie’s performance. Elodie had a glowing report at parents evening last night, and interestingly a lot of the positive areas of comment were things that Gemma has been working on with Elodie. So, in short, we’re very keen to keep working with her please!

It’s incredible the difference the sessions with Mike have made to our son’s confidence. He had been struggling for while and we were extremely worried about his prospects with sats looming but Mike listened to our concerns and put together a program of development and he has gone from strength to strength. He attained age related expectation by the end of the year, sailed through sats and has now settled well into his first year in secondary. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend Adventure Tuition to anybody with similar concerns.

Anna has done a great job in building my son’s confidence in maths with her calm and patient approach. The creative writing course was brilliant and is probably the best holiday activity that my daughter has done! She loved going along, always came out beaming and buzzing about what she had done during the day with Alison. When the book arrived, the sense of pride and achievement that she read her story with was lovely to see. As well as all the fluffy stuff, she learnt some great techniques to help her creative writing when she is at school which she will now approach with significantly more confidence having done the course.

We originally contacted Adventure Tuition looking for a tutor to support my son with the West Herts Consortium entrance exams but decided to continue the tuition in the run up to his SATS and the start of secondary school.

When Nadine left today my daughter skipped over to me, was smiling from ear to ear, and gave me a Hi-Five. I have never seen her so enthused about learning, especially on a Sunday morning!! My son who is in year 2 has had a tutor from Adventure Tuition for almost a year. He has made huge progress in his handwriting and his ability to attend to and follow instructions has also improved.  My daughter has been seeing Kate of adventure tuition for approximately 6 months now. A late summer born who has struggled significantly in reception, we, as parents, felt that we needed to provide her with some additional help. Adventure Tuition was the best decision that we made.
